My current work focuses on aspects two-dimensional conformal field theories and their deformations. I am keen on exploring how these can provide new insights about quantum field theories and improve our understanding of black holes, via the AdS/CFT correspondence. These explorations invoke probes from quantum information theory and often utilise modular functions.
I am presently a Fellow at the CERN Theory Department. I did my PhD from the Indian Institute of Science and held postdoc positions at the QFT & Strings Group of ETH Zurich and at the Mani L. Bhaumik Institute for Theoretical Physics of UCLA.
